  • Loss of visibility to all nodes
  • all my NE's are blue on the map
  • the nodes look good in Manager for 6K but are LOA in OneControl
  • all our 6500's are reachable by SiteManager but in loss of comms
  • OneControl
  • Manager for 6K

Step 1: Open the OneControl GUI

Step 2: Navigate to Administration then Manage EMS Configuration
There will be one or more entries for the Manager for 6k, OM5K and CPL sub-EMS.  The Connectivity column shows which of these that this OneControl is connected to.  Confirm this OneControl is showing as Connected to the Manager for 6k, OM5K and CPL which shares the same hostname or IP address. This is the co-resident Manager for 6k, OM5K and CPL.

Note: If your setup contains pairs of Remote Manager for 6k, OM5K and CPL's, one server in each of these pairs should show as 'Connected'.

Step 3: If OneControl is not showing as Connected to the co-resident 'Manager for 6k, OM5K and CPL', and instead shows '--',  check if it is the peer of the co-resident 'Manager for 6k, OM5K and CPL' that is showing Connected. If this is the case, right-click the co-resident entry for 'Manager for 6k, OM5K and CPL' and select Switch to Peer.

Step 4:  Verify the NE's have begun syncing in the OneControl NE List GUI
